A big thanks to everyone who supported the Fun Run/Walk On the 20th April.
In the games played last weekend our Seniors were beaten 1-13 by 0-14 by Crusheen, our Intermediates went down to Kilmaley 0-14 to 0-8 and our Junior team were beaten by the Mills 5-12 to 0-10.
5 Mile - Run / Walk SAT 20th April 2 PM
Well done to our Senior team who were too strong for Sixmilebridge in the Clare Cup last weekend winning by 4-16 to 1-10. John Conlon scored 1-12 and Micheal O'Loughlin scored two goals with Colm Galvin also excellent.
Our Intemediate League team went down heavily to Newmarket at the weekend and well done to our players involved on the Clare U15 team which played in Tralee at the weekend. The two Clare teams were involved in the final with Cian Moriarty and Kevin Madden on that team and Padraic Campbell, Kieran Galvin, Shane Corbett and David Fitzgerald on the other team. Mike Sheedy was also involved. Don't forget to register for the 5 mile run above on the 20th of April
Older Stories
Pride of place goes to our U21 team this week who defeated Inagh/Kilnamona 4-10 to 3-7 in the U21A Semi Final in Sixmilebridge. Behind 1-5 to 1-2at half time they rallied stongly in the second half with 2-2 from Ciaran Downey and goals from Tom and David Begley, they now meet Ballyea or Sixmilebridge in the final.
Our Intermediate team also won at the weekend defeating Clarecastle 4-10 to 1-10 at home.
Our Senior team lost out beaten at home in the Clare Cup by Inagh/Kilnamona 1-14 to 2-10 with goals from Darach Honan and Chris O'Kane.
Our 5 mile run/walk takes place on 20th Apr at 2.00 and can be booked on eventmaster.ie with the link above only €10 per person.

Also please note for your diary that Clonlara GAA will be holding a 5 mile fun run in aid of field development on Sat 20th April at 2.00 with prizes for men and ladies and a shorter un for children, there will also be a five person relay run which is open to any teams or clubs.
Well done to our players who represented the County team at the weekend in their victory over Cork by 1-22 to 1-16, well done to D.O'Donovan, N'O'Connell(0-1), J.Conlon(0-2), D.Honan(0-1), and C.Galvin. Our Senior team also travelled to Cork taking on Blarney with player/manager Donal Madden making an appearance before travelling to the Cork Clare match. Everyone is reminded that membership fees are due for all players and mentors.
Well done to our U21 team who defeated Eire Og in the A championship in a great match by 3-14 to 2-13. The teams were level numerous times and only a goal and a point in injury team secured the win. They now meet Inagh/Kilnamona in the semi final on Easter Weekend. Among those to play well were Ciaran Downey, Ryan Morris, Eoin Meehan and Ian Galvin. Well done to our Senior players on the county team who defeated Galway at the weekend, John Conlon, Nicky O'Connell, Domhnall O'Donovan, Colm Galvin and Darach Honan. Our Senior team lost out narrowly to Parteen in the Dermot Sheridan memorial at the weekend with the teams level at the end we lost a 65 play off.
